Karina Luna

Karina Luna was born in Houston, Texas and has been part of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community for most of her life. She attended the early childhood program, received her First Communion and Confirmation here and is a proud ACTS sister. Certified as an Administrative professional in 2021, Karina is bilingual in English and Spanish. She works as Receptionist as well as in Administration. Some of her duties include managing front desk operations, managing office supplies, scheduling maintenance, coordinating hall rentals, and overseeing the parish calendar. She also answers calls, responds to emails, and manages parish correspondence with care and discretion.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading and values health and wellness. A former athlete with over 20 years of soccer experience, she takes pride in her family roots from Jalisco, Mexico. Her favorite quote is by Maya Angelou:
