David was born and raised in Tomball, Texas, and was baptized on February 24, 2001. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. Though originally planning to attend medical school, David felt a strong call to ministry and began volunteering with youth ministry in 2024 and served as a summer missionary with ECHO Community, a Theology of the Body ministry in Covington, Louisiana. He officially joined the staff at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community as Assistant Youth Minister in January 2025.
As Assistant Youth Minister, David helps lead youth nights, Bible studies, retreats, and special events, all aimed at helping teens grow in their faith and build lasting community. He is passionate about walking with teens on their spiritual journey and creating spaces where they feel seen, heard, and encouraged. In his free time, David enjoys camping, reading, spending time outdoors, and jumping into a pick-up game of just about any sport.
