Parking Lot Construction

Our Parking lot construction is well underway.  Here are pictures and videos to follow the progress.

Here is a quick update on the project.
4/30/18 – 5/04/18
· Start paving Demo @ phase 1.
· Sawcut & demo @ K of C parking lot.
· Install temporary fence panels around phase 1.
· Remove fence at the playground.
· Start tree demo starting at the playground.
· Set-up office trailer.
· Set-up SWPPP.
 
[*] 5/07/18 – 5/11/18
· Cont. tree demo & haul off.
· Start excavation and installing storm sewer line starting from detention pond.
 
· Continue tree demo & haul off.
· Start excavation and installing storm sewer lines and installing M/H from the detention pond.
 6/11/18 – 6/15 /18 

•  Continue proof-rolling and identifying pumping areas, excavate and fill back in with dry soils at 8” lifts. 
•  Completed the underground electrical to the light poles. 
•  Install the 24” RCP with the P-Set @ the two approaches. 
•  Trench and installed two 4” PVC conduits for future Comcast fiber line. 
•  Trench and installed 6” PVC sleeves for irrigation @ each approach. 
•  Install fly-ash lime, watering down with a water tank truck and mixing. 
•  MTEC lab took densities on all areas of paving in phase 1, all passed. 
•  Final grading to the blue top and Burts Construction completed work in phase 1.
•  A final proof-roll was performed in phase 1 with Richard Ghanem here to witness before Burts Construction de-mobilize, all passed. 

 
 Next Week 6/18/18 – 6/22/18  

•  BCS field engineer starts laying out the parking lot site. 
•  Start edge forms to paving areas. 
•  Drill light pole piers and pour concrete. 
• Forner Electric to make the final connection to the underground electrical PVC to light pole bases. 
•  Set expansion joints and rebar to paving 
•  Drill and dial into the pour back stripe in front of the Knights of Columbus area.

9/10/18 – 9/14/18
1.         Continue concrete pavement, sidewalk & utility demo & haul off in phase
2.        Continue excavating and installing storm line, inlets  & M/H in phase 2.
           
9/17/18 – 9/21/18          
           Continue excavating and installing storm line, inlets & M/H. 
           Start earthwork & stabilization.

9/24/18 – 9/28/18          
           Excavate and install 24” RCP, type D-1 Inlet & PSET RC -type II at approaches. 
           Continue Hauling off underground utility spoils. 
           Continue cutting for subgrade.
            Rain-out days this week are from 9-24-18 thru 9-27-18. 9-28-18 was a mud day. 
             
10/1/18 – 10/5/18           
           Continue cutting for sub-grade. Stockpile sub-grade materials. 
           Blue top sub-grade.
