Faith Group – a gathering of 5-8 domestic churches who come together for prayer, learning, fellowship, and service (also known as Small Faith Groups or Small Christian Communities).
Flock – What we at Christ the Good Shepherd call a gathering of many Faith Groups who meet on the parish campus or can meet anywhere else.
Group Leaders—persons who have been trained to help their faith group walk through the CGS Guides together. Their role is not to teach, but to assist in facilitating conversation and helping people get the most out of the experience.

Curriculum Framework for Lifelong Faith Formation - the definitive framework by which catechesis is to be carried out in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in all contexts. It was promulgated by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston and became effective on January 6, 2014. The CGS Guides and all our efforts are based on this “Framework.”
